Gina, you are a genius! At this rate (each child only needing a 3 foot by 4 foot space to live in) I'm calculating that with a normal 1800 square foot home you could have a couple dozen kids. I'm smiling all over!
We did the same with Emma before we moved into a two bedroom apartment. Thank goodness for closets when you need another quiet place for a kid to sleep.
