Parade

Take a trip with me along Blurry Photo Lane. Even blurry pictures help me to remember some of the fun things we've done so I don't mind that they're blurry.

On Saturday we went to the Electric Light Parade in downtown Phoenix. I'd never been before and it was kind of weird to have a parade in the dark, but we had a great time and the kids loved it.

Bryson was the ringleader of the event and he came equipped with pizza, lights for the kids, a string of lights to mark our spot on the parade route, and a camping stove to make hot chocolate! I was impressed to say the least.

Judy liked everything, especially Grandpa's ear warmers.

And Aaron spent a good portion of the parade hanging on Grandpa's neck.

There's nothing like coming to a parade, breaking the cool LED lights Bryson made, spilling hot chocolate on Grandma, taking 2 bites of each slice of pizza before putting them back in the box, stealing Grandpa's ear warmers and then wrenching his neck off. Such is life with kids. You guys were great sports, thanks for inviting us.

We had a blast! It was all about being together. Thanks for organizing it all Bryson. He truly has the system figured out. We really missed Cindy.
